2004 wild arbor Menghai area "old comrade" brick tea. The inner ticket mentions that this tea is supposedly made "from ancient tea trees" from Yushou Mountain and Brown Mountain in Menghai, Blended by Mr. Binglang, formerly a director at the Menghai Tea Factory, the tea was picked in March and pressed in April of 2004, "before the rain". Per the label, the tea is from the Yunnan Bay Tea Company. It was sold to me as being from Lao Tong Zhai (Haiwan) due to the "old comrade" name and the tea blender. Haiwan was established by directors that left Menghai Tea Company back in the late 1990's.
250g bricks. Three bricks total. This is not ancient arbor, but ignoring the hype, this is a great value drinker with over 20 years of aging.
